We need your help!

WE NEED YOUR HELP!

Unfortunately due to circumstances we have only received half of the necessary funding in order to keep all of our 8 feeding centers open for the year. Because of this we will be forced to shut down three of our feeding centers as of September 1st. On top of that three of our feeding centers – Thomas Borge 1, Thomas Borge 2 and Augusto Cesar Sandino are dangerously close to being shut down due to lack of funding for the second half of the year.

Our goal for the month of September is to secure the funding to keep these three feeding centers open until January 1, 2016. Our goal is to raise $15,000 by October 1st. Please help us to continue to be able to provide meals for the kids in these three feeding centers.

FEEDING CENTERS

two
Tomas Borge #1

Thomas Borge 1 was founded in 2012 and currently has 187 kids registered to eat daily. The Thomas Borge community is known as the dump because it was actually the old dump in Leon. The families that live here are extremely impoverished, making less than $2 per day on average. Most of them live in homes made of plastic, cardboard and sticks. We have also planted a church in this area along with the feeding center with a pastor and we ask that you would please help us to continue God’s work through both the feeding center and the church.
